Setting up a new MIT for success starts with making sure that the Training Manager and Training Restaurant are prepared for the MIT before they arrive on their first day. Below, you will find a number of documents to assist you.
First, make sure that the MIT’s training device is working and that it meets the Basic Equipment Requirements below (updated in February 2023.) Then, ensure that you correctly set up the NEW MIT in POSi Touch so that they will automatically be assigned the NEW, 8-week MIT program. (This should be confirmed by checking the MIT’s setup on the eLearning Center.) Last, review the Using eLearning in the MIT Program document to ensure that you understand the relationship between on-the-job training and the NEW MIT workbook and what needs to be completed on the eLearning Center. Additional supporting documentation, including a sample and blank schedule for Tiers 1 and 2 and electronic versions of the Positional, Self Evaluation, and Candidate Assessments are also included below.
